ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz’s parliamentary party nominated Nawaz Sharif for the position of prime minister.
Sharif’s name was recommended by Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan during the meeting and was subsequently approved by the parliamentary party.
The PML-N chief told his party’s MNAs that those who had vandalised the national wealth had to be held accountable, adding that PML-N lawmakers had a huge responsibility on their shoulders.
The meeting also deliberated on nominations for the positions of speaker and deputy speaker of the National Assembly.
Over 150 members of the party were present during the meeting held in Islamabad.

Three concerns surface on the historic occasion of yet another opportunity for the PML-N to lead the fate of the nation democratically.
The first concern is how the PML-N will balance national interest with the overwhelming favors the Sharif family has benefitted by from Saudi Arabia.
The second is the now apparent deep rooted monarchic propensities of the Sharif family. Look at their unmatched living style, which is also indicated by their hobbies like importing and keeping wild animals.
The third concern is their vast business interests, within and outside the country, and those of other party members. To what extent those personal interests will affect national policies? People have not forgotten the freezing of the foreign exchange accounts of ordinary citizens and the subsequent rumors.

Congratulations. Wishing you all the best to prove that PML(N) is much better political party than PTI as for as practical perfromance is concerned, not only the ideas and theories.
