HYDERABAD, July 25: The Hyderabad district administration has increased the wheat flour price at the mill, chakki and retail levels by Rs2 a kilo on the recommendation of the price control committee.

A notification issued here on Thursday says that deputy commissioner Mohammad Nawaz Soho exercising the powers conferred on him under the Control and Prevention and Hoarding Act, 1977, and on the recommendation of the price control committee has re-fixed the maximum price of atta.

The new ex-(roller) mill prices will be Rs39 a kilo at the wholesale and Rs40 a kilo at the retail level, it says, adding that the new ex-chakki prices will be Rs41 a kilo at the wholesale and Rs42 a kilo at the retail level.—Staff Correspondent
