QUETTA, July 26: Twelve suspects were picked up during a search operation carried out by law-enforcement personnel in Satellite Town on Friday, sources said.

The Anti-Terrorist Force and Quetta Police had conducted the joint operation following a tip-off, they said.

The suspects were allegedly involved in kidnappings for ransom and targeted killings and they supported banned religious and other organisations, the sources said, adding that they were wanted to police in a number of cases.

The suspects were taken to different police stations and were being interrogated.
