KOHAT, May 24: The Kohat tunnel has been completely sealed till June 14 when the prime minister is scheduled to inaugurate it.

The NHA sealed the tunnel on the orders of the federal government as a security measure. Even workers will not be allowed to enter the tunnel, which has been ready for commissioning since mid-April.

On two earlier occasions the inaugural ceremony had to be cancelled for security reasons.

The whole Kohat district was declared dangerous after the killing of four Al Qaeda members by police a few months back. Al Qaeda had threatened retaliation for the killing.
