MIRAMSHAH, Aug 17: Three people were killed and two injured when five armed men opened indiscriminate fire in a market in Miramshah, North Waziristan tribal region, on Saturday.

Sources said the incident was the result of personal enmity between one Zain Ali and the armed men.

Zain Ali died on the spot.

The two other deceased were passers-by who succumbed to their injuries at the agency headquarter hospital. They hailed from Gyankhel and Dattakhel.

Soon after the incident members of a Taliban peace committee rushed to the spot and captured the armed men. They took the armed men to their headquarters.
