Cologne, Germany, 25th Aug, 2013 - Cologne is looking sublime; Gamescom tickets for the first time in history have been completely sold out.

The weather is a bit cloudy with sun coming out every 10 minute, perfect day to continue our journey into Gamescom. EA has a lot going on, Calling it a booth would undermine the mammoth size of the whole area, the entrance is ushered by 50 foot tall battlefield posters on both sides.

Visitors are greeted by a spectacle of blue lights, haze, awesome war music, a plethora of screens, a beautiful LED chandelier and a giant Titan fall mech, that will make your jaw will drop.

The hall plan is laid out in a semi circular way, with different EA titles occupying the circumference of the semi circle, facing towards the centre, which is where the Titan fall booth and the 30 foot mech, with moving head and rotating head lights, stands proudly.

First is the battlefield arena, where perhaps the longest line on all the show floor is present. You need to enter the booth they have created, through a make shift door and then the experience begins. Need for speed Rivals has a Red Ferrari 458 and a black Nissan GTR with police written on its side welcoming the players who play against each other on a multilevel stage, the winner gets a Rivals t shirt.

Next is a large LG display, as they are official sponsors with EA for the stand and provided all the monitors and electronics. Then is a again multilayer FIFA 14 stand, which had fifa on Xbox 360, PS3 and Xbox ONE. On it’s left is Command and Conquer setup with a large display playing where players had the ability to try out the new game on PCs.

Sims 4 also boasts a white and green multistory stage, where for the first time journalists and gamers were allowed to play it. And lastly we end again at battlefield’s other booth, since one was not enough for the number of fans drooling over it. EA’s booth is truly is a sight to behold and according to popular belief - the best show floor presence by any company.

Steeping out of the digital world for a moment, Electro Go Kart track racing started at 09.00 am today. These karts are quiet but still pack a punch and on a 3000 sqm track give everyone a lively race. Laser Tag gaming event also took place, on which you tag the other teams jacket with a laser gun and it’s basically a digital paint ball event.

PS VITA COS Cup 2013 started, in which street skaters compete in five championship, and one of those takes place during Gamescom 2013. Not a lot of gaming news was revealed today, as a lot was given in the first couple of days and the companies are holding some things for the last day of Gamescom.
