QUETTA, Aug 26: For the first time, two dengue cases have been reported in the coastal district of Gwadar, according to health officials.

Sources in the health department said on Monday that two patients suffering from dengue fever were brought to the district hospital in Gwadar.

“Yes, we have shifted two patients suffering from dengue fever to Karachi for further treatment,” they said.

Gwadar’s Deputy Commissioner Tufail Baloch directed health authorities to carry out a drive against mosquito menace.—Staff Correspondent
