SKARDU, Sept 3: Hundreds of people took out a protest rally here on Tuesday against the possible US attack on Syria.

The rally was organised by Muttahida Wehdatul Muslimeen and activists of religious and social organisations took part in the protest. The protesters marched from Yadgar-i-Shuhada to the UN office at Parishan Chowk. They were holding banners and placards and chanting slogans against the US, Israel and Saudi Arabia.

Later, while addressing a public meeting in front of United Nation sub-office at Parishan chowk, Agha Mazahir Hussain, Raja Zakria Khan, and others condemned the ‘conspiracy’ against Syria and said that in case of any attack on Syria and Iran, the Muslim world would crush America considering it an attack on Islam.—Correspondent
