PESHAWAR, Sept 16: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Election Commissioner Sono Khan Baloch on Monday said the Election Commission had finalised all arrangements for smooth, free and transparent by-election in NA-25 DI Khan-cum-Tank constituency on Wednesday (tomorrow).

“All arrangements for the smooth holding of by-election in NA-25 have been made. A total of 3,66,550 registered male and female voters will exercise their right of franchise in a free atmosphere,” Baloch said in a press statement issued here.

Mr Sono said 17 candidates were in the running for the seat for which polling would begin at 8am and continue until 5pm without break.

“Voters on the polling stations will be allowed to cast vote after the polling time is over,” he said.
