KHAIRPUR, Sept 29: The Sindh chief minister inaugurated Bhurgari Pull constructed over the Mirwah canal and the Players’ Hostel near Hockey Ground Luqman in Khairpur city on Sunday.

The projects have been built at the costs of Rs509 million and R10 million respectively.

Later in the day he met various delegations of citizens and traders at the Jillani House and listened to people’s problems.

Talking to the delegations, he said that the provincial government was making efforts for the economic welfare of the people.

He said that education and health sectors were being given first priority and efforts were being made to provide latest health and education facilities to the people.

He said that the government was trying to improve the law and order situation in Karachi and the rest of the province, citing the example of a combined and impartial operation in the city.
