QUETTA, Oct 8: At least 11 people, including four police personnel, were injured in a grenade attack on New Sariab police station on Tuesday.

Police officials said unidentified people riding a motorcycle hurled the grenade at the gate of the police station and sped away. The grenade exploded in the courtyard.

The injured were taken to the Civil Hospital. Seven of them were passers-by.

Soon after the attack police cordoned off the area and took into custody some suspects.
