KARACHI, Oct 11: Fancied Karachi mustered 110 points while securing three golds, six silvers and a bronze to win the Sindh Sports Board (SSB) ranking boxing championship which concluded in Mirpurkhas on Thursday evening.
Mirpurkhas amassed 80 points to finish runner-up with a tally of five golds and a bronze in the five-team contest. Hyderabad seized third place while securing 55 points from one gold, two silver and four bronze medals.
Commissioner Mirpurkhas, Ghulam Mustafa Phol, who graced the finals, gave away the prizes.
The championship was organized by the Sindh Boxing Association.

69kg: Munawwar Hussain (Mirpurkhas) bt Khalil Ahmed (Karachi) 3-0.
75kg: Wali Khan (Karachi) bt Noman Ejaz (Larkana) RSC first round.
81kg: Shahbaz Rajput (Hyderabad) bt Ghulam Mohammad (Karachi) 3-0.
91kg: Aqeel Ahmed (Larkana) bt Murtaza (Karachi) 3-0.
91+kg: Allah Bux (Mirpurkhas) bt Ehsanullah (Karachi) 3-0.
