ISLAMABAD, Oct 13: Ameer Bux Bhutto, son of PML-N leader Mumtaz Bhutto, was made adviser to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Sunday.

According to a notification, the president made the appointment with immediate effect on the advice of the prime minister and Mr Ameer Bhutto would enjoy the status of a federal minister.

Sources said the PML-N planned to reorganise itself in Sindh the need of which arose after the recent resignation of its provincial chief Ghaus Ali Shah.

Mumtaz Bhutto had merged his Sindh National Front into the PML-N before the May 11 elections.Mr Ameer Bhutto previously served as a member of the Sindh Assembly.—Staff Reporter
