Grenade attack in Quetta injures 11

QUETTA: A grenade attack targetting on a convoy of the Balochistan Constabulary in Quetta injured 11 people on Tuesday, DawnNews reported.

A vehicle belonging to the Balochistan Constabulary was travelling on Mastung Road in Quetta when unknown motorcyclists hurled a hand grenade at it.

The wounded included five constabulary personnel, three children and three others present in the vicinity.

The victims were taken to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) and Civil Hospital for treatment. The condition of those injured was sateted as out of danger by hospital sources.

Security forces reached the attack site and cordoned off the area.

A search operation was conducted in the area as a probe into the incident went underway.
