SWABI, Oct 18: Two men gunned down their father and stepmother here on Friday.

Also, three people were killed in Swabi on Wednesday and Thursday.

Zamin Shah told police that his brother, Bakht Munir, had solemnised second marriage over 15 years ago before abandoning the first one and sons Ali Khan and Haleem Khan, and living with second wife in Hund village.

He said the second marriage angered sons Ali and Haleem, who on Friday barged into their father’s house and opened fire on father and stepmother killing them instantly.

The complainant said the killers fled after the incident.

Police later registered an FIR against the killers.

On Wednesday, Musa Khan was killed and son Farmanzada injured in Kalabat village here after rivals, including Sadiq Mohammad, Ghulam Mohammad, Waqar Khan and Tasleem Khan, opened fire on them over the grass cutting dispute in Kalabat graveyard.

On the complaint of the injured, police registered an FIR against Farmanzada and his brother, Salmanzada.

On Thursday, a woman from Managi area committed suicide by taking poisonous tablets after a quarrel with husband Naseer Khan.

She was taken to the nearby hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead.

Also, Amanullah Khan allegedly gunned down Mohibullah in Naranji village.

The reported cause of the incident was a petty issue.

Gufranullah, son of the deceased, lodged an FIR against the alleged killer.
