KARACHI, Oct 21: Asadullah Khan Pathan was elected unopposed as the president while Arif Naveed was elected as the chairman in the Sukkur Olympic Association polls held at the Municipal Stadium, Sukkur on Sunday.

The Sindh Olympic Association (SOA) conducted the elections as per National Sports Policy under the supervision of SOA election commission comprising Abdul Razak Arain and Razaullah Khan.

The representative of Sindh Sports Board and Sports Department, Sindh Mir Mohammad Kalhoro also attended the meeting as observer.

The other office bearers elected in the Sukkur Olympic Association polls include Arif Mehmood (Secretary General), Mohammad Anis Khan (Sr VP), Hassab Blouch, Skindar Ali, Syed Zakir Hussain Zaidi, Mohammad Panha Mehar, Ms Farzana, Prof Badaruddin (all VPs), Taj Mohammad, Ghulam Hussain, Ms Ghazala (all joint secretaries) and Syed Izhar Hussain Zaidi (Treasurer).—Agencies
