Kanpur pitch is a table top; shortest boundaries to boot. Afridi's centuries were nothing more than a fluke.Any pinch hitter can score a century once in a blue moon. Even a Jason Gillespie has a double ton in test cricket! Does Afridi know how to pace an innings? Has ever batted sensibly for Pakistan?

No doubt, India has one of the strongest ODI batting lineup but on difficult pitches and against quality bowling, there were found wanting too, example : last pakistan tour in which Irfan and Junaid ripped through their lineup. I agree with Dhoni concern about the kind of pitches and rules being enforced in ODI making it impossible for bowlers to contain runs. I would rather scrap the OPDI format altogether and have one limited overs format only comprising 30 overs a side. People get bored of seeing bowlers being plummeted all over the ground for 50 overs on these kind of road tracks.

When a player like Rohit smashes a double hundred then there is definitely something horribly wrong with: the pitch bowlers ODI rules But no second opinion on the fact that India are the deserving World Champions and No 1 side in ODIs

Why only double ton and not triple Ton? This is same Indian team who were mesmerized by England 4-0 and Australia 4-0 in Australia.One thing commendable about India is their pitch curator who are expert at preparing Flat pitches where there No.11 batsman bats like Don Bradman and both teams keep on scoring 400 runs.Its shame in name of cricket.I have seen how good was Rohit Sharma when he toured England and Australia.I think same team was beaten black and blue by England and Australia in England and Australia.By the way England also beat India in India too.Definitely not many countries are expert in preparing Flat tracks like India which is commendable on part of Indian curators.

In Champions Trophy, at final stage Indian bowlers could defend 18 odd runs for six wickets of English batsmen. How about Pakistan, 6 batsmen could not get 18 runs. Statistics is a bikini, it covers more than it reveals!!

If you guys are hell bent on looking out for excuses, you would get a million each time. Saeed Ajmal is an intelligent and clever bowler, Afridi, in the form of a bowler is very good too. Junaid Khan was very promising, Irfan sporadically good. The Less said the better for other bowlers who just make up the numbers. How does it become a world class attack as it was once when Wasim and Waqar penetrated any batting line-up?

Irrespective of batsmen of any country (and not doubting skills and capabilities) who is scoring 100's and occasionally 200's are getting lot of lift from rules changes made in last 10 years *emphasized text*in ODI games, which are more favorable to batsmen than bowlers. I am not concerned about pitch conditions, which always has been prepared keeping in mind for giving home team advantage. However, I am not liking rules like, restrictions on bouncers in one over, all balls going down the leg are wide, free hits, field restrictions clearly leave bowler wondering "what is left for them". I have lost interest in cricket, luckily, I live in a country where I have option to watch much more exciting sports which are evenly balanced.

Remember about 70 percent of cricket stadia are in sub continent. So you think scoring 350 plus runs is a shame and you prefer watching defending ball after ball? It is true that Pakistan do not have the bowlers like Wasim, Waqar and Shoaib right now. Our strength has shifted from fast bowlers to spinners now and I can proudly say that we have the best spin trio in ODIs comprising Ajmal, Afridi and Hafeez, even the reserve spinners like AbdurRehman, Zulfiqar Babar would get into any international team. Junaid and Irfan have supported the spinners very well .
