SUKKUR, June 6: The Jacobabad and Balochistan police conducted raids for the third consecutive day in the Dadpur Jagir village on Friday and conducted house-to-house search to arrest three culprits allegedly involved in the killing of a Hari of Mir Farid Jamali, son of Prime Minister Zafarullah Jamali.

Eleven Jakhrani tribesmen who were arrested on Wednesday during a raid on Jagir village, the native village of PPP MNA Mir Ijaz Jakhrani, were again shifted from Jafferabad (Balochistan) to the Mouladad police station, Jacobabad.

On Friday, cases have been registered against them for keeping illegal arms in their houses.

However, Abdul Wali Jakhrani, who is a cousin of Mir Ijaz Jakhrani and son of Sardar Baqa Mohammad Jakhrani, is still in police custody at the Dera Allahyar lockup.
