KARACHI, Nov 3: Kalakot XI clinched the Commissioner Karachi NBP Inter-Mohalla football tournament with a 4-2 victory against Chakiwara in the final at the People’s Football Stadium here on Sunday.

Asif Baloch scored twice for Kalakot who received a winner’s cheque of Rs40,000 from chief guest Gulzar Feroz, vice-president of the Pakistan Chamber of Commerce. Asif collected Rs10,000 for his match-winning performance in the final.

Chakiwara, meanwhile, received Rs27,500 for their run to the final.

Karachi commissioner Shoaib Siddiqui and former Test cricketer and chief selector Iqbal Qasim, NBP sports head, also attended the final.

Ghalam Mohammad was the chief coordinator of the event.—Agencies
