KARACHI, Nov 8: The Sindh ranking tennis championship got off to a poor start when only two matches were organised on the opening day at the Bath Island Tennis Club courts on Friday.
According to the organisers, the programme could not take place as per schedule announced the other day due to the absence of players. Meanwhile, in the two under-13 singles matches, Zubair Raja brushed aside Samir Shamshie 6-2, 6-0 while Aaffan Jawwad gets the better of Asheesh Kumar 6-2, 6-4.
