QUETTA, Nov 9: The building of a seminary was damaged in a bomb blast that occurred at a village in Pishin district late on Friday night, police said.

They said that explosives planted by unidentified people near the rear wall of the seminary in Killi Manzaki village, some 10km from Pishin town, went off with a big bang. The small village was rocked by the blast.

“Rooms and walls of the seminary were damaged by the powerful blast,” a senior official of the Pishin administration said. “Students and other people present in the seminary at the time of the explosion remained safe,” he added.
