HYDERABAD, Nov 24: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) of Hyderabad announced on Sunday result of secondary school certificate part-I (class-IX) annual examination 2013 for science and general groups.

According to official handout, out of 61,652 students enrolled for the examination, 61,254 appeared in the exam, including 3,854 boys and 23,109 girls while 398 students remained absent.

51,913 students cleared all five papers and 5,883 remained successful in four papers. 131 students’ result was withheld by conduct branch and 529 students are facing copying cases.

In general group, 2,242 students including 1,473 boys and 769 girls were enrolled for examination while 2,174 appeared in exams. 68 students remained absent.

A total of 1,651 students had cleared all the five papers while 284 could clear only four papers. Result of 46 students was withheld for a variety of reasons while 48 students’ result was withheld on account of copying cases.
