KARACHI, Nov 25: Omer Allauddin of Punjab sent fourth seed Zeeshan Khan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa packing 11-1, 11-6, 13-11 to advance into boys’ under-19 quarter-finals in the fifth Roshan Khan juniors open squash championship at PN Roshan Khan-Jahangir Khan Squash Complex on Monday.

Omer Allaudin had a short work of Sindh’s Haider Shahzad 11-0, 11-0, 11-0 in the opener on Sunday.

In three other minor upsets in the same category, fifth seed M. Farhan, seventh seed Salman Hashmi and eighth seed Hamza Imtiaz, all from Punjab, were removed by Shafiullah Kakar, Israr Ahmed and Faraz Mohammad respectively.

Four other players who propelled into the last eight were Tayyab Aslam, Asim Khan, Abbas Shoukat and Abdullah Bashir.

Meanwhile, the boys’ under-17, under-15 and under-13 events also reached the quarter-finals.
