PESHAWAR, Nov 25: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inspector General of Police Nasir Khan Durrani has directed his department to take legal steps after proper verification and investigation in the Hangu drone attack case.

These directives were issued by IGP on an application submitted to him by Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf central secretary of legal affairs Barrister Suleman Afridi, who has become a party in this case.

The applicant has nominated the United States of America (USA) and CIA in his application and requested for registering of proper FIR against them.

He has also given references of the statement issued by ministry of foreign affairs, news published in Washington Post and the decision of Peshawar High Court about the drone attack in the application.

Taking prompt action on the application, Mr Durrani directed the investigation officers of the case to verify the points mentioned in the application and take further legal action in the matter.
