LAHORE, Nov 30: The ongoing Pantene Bridal Couture Week by Style 360 continued on the second day in all its splendour.

Showbiz personalities walked the ramp for Zainab Chottani’s segment titled ‘Rang-o-Raag’ featuring shirts and gowns in various lengths. HSY along with the models opened the show followed by TV artists Myra Khan, Marwa and Urwa, Sherry in bridal ensembles in jewel tones with fantastical cuts and metal embellishments. The one piece that stood out was a black bridal donned by model Fayezah Ansari that was embellished with jaal work.

Veteran supermodel Iraj rendered a brilliant performance at the end of the segment on ‘Jiya Jale Jaan Jale’ and received a tremendous applause for her bold moves. Black-on-black menswear kurtas were also part of the collection.

Erum Khan’s ‘Rabail’ line comprised candy-coloured bridals and standout jewellery pieces. It featured Hamza Ali Abbasi, Sidra Batool and model/actress Iman Ali in a stunning peach ensemble. This segment was followed by a striking bhangra performance in pitch darkness amidst LED lights that not only looked sensational but was extraordinary as far as fashion weeks go, and added superlative entertainment value to the event. Islamabad-based designer Bina Sultan of BNS Couture played with colours and cuts and her segment saw pioneer stylist Tariq Amin with his muse/wife Faiza Amin as the showstoppers.

Menswear designer Humayun Alamgir showcased his sherwani collection titled ‘Suhaag’ with a live performance by Uzair Jaswal. Singer Noman Jawaid and cricketer Shoaib Malik appeared as showstoppers for the Karachi-based designer.

After the break, Maria B kicked off ‘Show Two’ with her ‘Kundra’ collection inspired by the power and beauty of the legendary moon princess by that name and featured a performance titled Nayab by the Raga Boys. This was followed by Hina Butt’s ‘Splendour’, Saira Rizwan’s ‘Tilkrari’, hair and make-up showcase by Maram & Aabroo to define bridal looks for the upcoming season, and the finale by Ali Xeeshan titled ‘Panchayat’.
