RAWALPINDI, Dec 13: More than 300 seminary students on Friday demanded ban on religious processions and arrest of the assassins of Maulana Shamsur Rehman Muavia, who was killed in Lahore last week, and staged sit-in on Benazir Road.

Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) organised the sit-in which created traffic snarls on Benazir Bhutto Road. The local administration and police, however, managed to convince them to end their sit-in.

In Taxila, ASWJ activists took out a rally from community centre which marched through Faisal Shaheed Road. It turned into a rally at Taxila main chowk. — A Reporter
