Three major-generals promoted: ISPR

ISLAMABAD: Three major-generals of the Pakistan Army were promoted to the rank of lieutenant-general on Friday, according to a notification released by the Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR).

They are Major-Generals Muhammad Zahid Latif Mirza, Ikramul Haq and Obaidullah Khan Khattak.

Earlier this year, Maj-Gen Zahid Latif was appointed as the Director-General Personnel Service at the General Head Quarters (GHQ).

Maj-Gen Ikramul Haq has previously served as the Force Command Northern Areas (FCNA) Commander.

Maj-Gen Obaidullah Khan Khattak has previously served as the IG of the Frontier Corps (FC) in Balochistan.

All three of them had been promoted to the rank of major-generals in March 2010 along with 26 of their colleagues.
