KARACHI: Unseeded Mustafa Jamal claimed his maiden men’s singles title by getting the better of Danish Ramzan in straight sets final of the Sindh Sports Board development series ranking tennis championship at Union Club on Friday.

Mustafa gets the better of Danish 6-3, 6-3 to win honours.

The ladies singles title went to top seed Hania Naveed, who faced no resistance while posting 6-2, 6-1 victory over Neha Khan.

Ibrahim Iltifat also lived up to his billing prevailing over Nazif Ahmed 7-5, 6-2 to land the juniors’ under-17 crown. Nazif, however, earned some consolation accounting to Jalaluddin Babar 6-0, 6-4 to annex under-15 title.

Final: Mustafa Jamal bt Danish Ramzan 6-3, 6-3.

Ladies singles:

Final: Hania Naveed bt Neha Khan 6-2, 6-1.

Juniors’ under-17 singles:

Final: Ibrahim Iltifat bt Nazif Ahmed 7-5, 6-2.

Under-15 singles:

Semi-final: Nazif Ahmed bt Jalauddin Babar 6-0, 6-4.

Under-15 singles:
