KARACHI: The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) on Thursday defused two bombs planted at the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board's (KWSB)'s head office near Karsaz and Site area office, DawnNews reported.

The BDS was called in after information of bombs situated at the KWSB offices were received.

The sites were evacuated and the disposal squad conducted a perimeter search of both the premises.

A 10-kilogram bomb was recovered at the head office of the water boards near Karachi. Moreover, the BDS personnel after combing the area declared the sites as safe.

The explosive devices were defused later by the BDS personnel.
