RAWALPINDI: The 169th Corps Commanders' Conference was held at General Headquarters on Monday.

The conference undertook a comprehensive review of the prevalent security situation in the country.

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif chaired the meeting.

According to ISPR, the two-day long conference was part of routine monthly meetings.

On the first day of the conference, the forum dwelt at length on various professional matters.

Second day of the conference is devoted to promotion board from Brigadier to the rank of Maj General.
