ISLAMABAD: Kuwait has lifted ban on import of all kinds of live birds, eggs and day old chicks from Pakistan.
The ban was slapped on Pakistan, Cameroon, Georgia and Myanmar in 2006.
A commerce ministry order stated that the ban has been lifted following a report of the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE), stating that Pakistan is free from birdflu.
The order stated that the export consignments would be subject to health measures issued by the Animal Health Department at the authority according to the conditions of OIE.—Staff Reporter
