ISLAMABAD: A six-member judicial delegation from the US called on Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani in Supreme Court on Tuesday.

The delegation was headed by US District Court Judge from Eastern District of California Morrison England.

The other members included Charles L. Jenkins, resident legal adviser and Jullia Fromholz, the rule of law adviser.

The delegation exchanged views on Intellectual Property Law and its enforcement in Pakistan.

The chief justice informed the delegation that judiciary in Pakistan was fully cognizant of the Intellectual Property Law matters and its importance for the economic development of the country.

They also exchanged views on furthering legal education in Pakistan by mutual cooperation between judiciaries of the both countries.
