KARACHI: Founder of ARY Group Haji Abdul Razzaq Yaqoob passed away after a protracted illness on Friday, according to the group's news website.
The owner and chief executive officer of a prominent business group in Pakistan, which includes gold trading, communications and the television network, Haji Abdul Razzaq Yaqoob was born on May 7, 1944.
Haji Abdul Razzaq was also a philanthropist and remained the head of the World Memon Organisation (WMO).

From Almighty God we come and to HIM we all have to return one day, sooner or later. Successful are only those in this mortal life and transient world who have spent their lives in-line with the teachings of the Holy Quran and the Great Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
May God Almighty accord the departed soul of Haji Abdul Razzaq Yaqoob peace and solace in the Jannatual Firdous and grant all of his bereaved family, friends, relatives, peers, pals, associates, classmates, colleagues, fans, community, tribe, neighborhood and clan members the courage and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
