LAHORE: Commissioner Rashid Mahmood Langrial on Monday approved installation of LED lights in Kasur city, stating the project would reduce electricity bills as well as state expenditures.

While presiding over a meeting of the Divisional Development Working Committee, the commissioner also approved establishment of a Rescue 1122 station, a sewerage and drainage system and Muridke Bypass at Ferozwatuwan tehsil of Sheikhupura district.

He directed Sheikhupura District Coordination Officer (DCO) Ali Jan Khan, Kasur DCO Javed Iqbal Bukhari and Development Director Mian Iftikhar Rasool to monitor construction work and get the schemes completed on time.

ENCROACHMENT: As part of the ongoing operation, various teams of the town municipal administration removed several encroachments at various locations of the city.
