The SHO of Saeedabad, Ayazuddin, said that the parents of 17-year-old Mohsin Ali had sent him from Chakiwara to stay in Yusuf Goth for some days owing to the breakdown of law and order in Lyari.

However, unidentified men kidnapped him from a coach when he was on his way to Gwadar in Balochistan and later killed him. The police officer said that the victim had no affiliation with any group. The body was taken to the Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities.
