DADU: Work on Thal canal flayed

DADU, July 2: The Dadu District Council, at its budget session held here on Monday, unanimously adopted a resolution against construction of the Thal canal.

It demanded that the federal government should shelve the project in the interest of the country and take action against the Punjab irrigation minister for his statement that those protesting against the Thal canal construction were Indian agents.
