Thirteen arrested in Rawalpindi raids

RAWALPINDI: Nine proclaimed offenders and four absconders were arrested on Thursday in raids carried out by police personnel in different parts of Rawalpindi, DawnNews reported.

The raids were conducted in the areas of New Town, Cantonment, R.A. Bazaar, Airport, Jatli, Kahuta and Kallar Syedan.

According to a police spokesman, the raids were carried out on the directives of RPO Akhtar Omer Hayat Lalika.
