Student: The axis of the Earth is an imaginary line which passes from one Pole to the other, and on which the Earth revolves.

Teacher: Very good. Now, could you hang clothes on that line?

Student: Yes, sir.

Teacher: Well, what sort of clothes?

Student: Imaginary clothes, sir.

“Nah, he’s not so smart,” the friend replied. “I’ve beaten him three games out of five.”

THERE were two cows, chatting over the fence between their fields.

The first cow said, “I tell you, this mad-cow-disease is really scary. They say it is spreading fast; I heard it hit some cows on some other farm.”

The other cow replies, “I am not worried because it can’t affect us ducks.”
