GWADAR: Mirani Dam was filled to capacity on Sunday as heavy rains continued to lash the Makran division on the second consecutive day and water has started leaking from the dam’s spillways.

It also rained in Quetta on Sunday.

Electricity supply to the entire division was suspended after some fault in transmission lines coming from Iran.

There were reports of flash floods in seasonal nullahs and streams, disrupting traffic on Gwadar-Karachi coastal highway.
