KARACHI: Displaying outstanding performance, up and coming Marib Malik brushed aside Farzan Azhar in straight sets to capture his first title of the season in the Sindh ranking tennis championship at Union Club on Wednesday.
Marib, who had beaten Hania Naveed and Ebad Sarwar in the preceding matches, gets past of Farzan 6-3, 6-3 to land the juniors crown.
Results: Men’s singles:
Semi-final: Murad Khan bt Robin Das 6-1, 7-5.
Juniors’ under-17 singles: Final: Marib Malik bt Farzan Azhar 6-3, 6-3.
