QUETTA: The Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) has opposed a government’s move to hand over the Nawab Nauroz Khan Football Complex of Ayub Stadium to a security force and urged the government to reverse the decision.

Addressing a protest rally outside the press club on Sunday, members of the party’s organising committee Akhtar Hussain Lango and Ghulam Nabi Marri said that giving the football complex to the force would be an injustice with players of the game.

They said the government’s move would discourage local players of football.

They said the BNP-M would launch a protest movement if the government did not reverse the decision.
