KARACHI: Paceman Aamir Panhwar returned outstanding figures of eight for 46 to help Larkana dismiss Dera Murad Jamali for 114 in their first innings on the opening day of their three-day Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Grade-II tournament match in Multan.

After deciding to bat first at the Multan Cricket Stadium in the last league fixture of the triangular event, the winless Dera Murad Jamali lasted only 32.4 overs with Najeebullah (45) and Mohammad Asim (31) making noteworthy contributions.

But Dera Murad Jamali bounced back to dismiss Larkana for 80 in 40.2 overs with paceman Faizullah claiming five wickets for 40 and Nasir Khan three for one.

Batting again, Dera Murad Jamali reached 9-2 with Aamir taking both the wickets to fall thus far.

Fata have already qualified for the April 14-17 final to be played in Multan.
