QUETTA: Three people were killed in different incidents in Quetta and other areas and a body was found in Kalat district on Thursday.

The body found in Surab area of Kalat was mutilated, Levies sources said. “Marks of torture were visible on the body,” they said.

The dead could not be identified.

Police said a man was gunned down in the airport area. The victim, identified as Amanullah, was on his way home when armed men targeted him.

He received multiple gunshots and died.

The cause of the killing remains unclear. Police investigation was under way.

In another incident, assailant killed a man in Rakhni area of Barkhan district. Police said Allah Bakhsh was passing through Rakhni bazaar when armed men opened fire at him.

A man was killed when a Quetta-bound train hit him in Sariab area.

Railway police said the unidentified man was crossing the tracks when the train hit him.

The body was shifted to civil hospital.
