LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf secretary-general Jahangir Khan Tareen has said Protection of Pakistan Bill and Nawaz-Zardari meeting had exposed ‘PML-N, PPP nexus’.

Talking to the media persons at the residence of PTI Lahore vice-president Dr Zarqa Taimoor on Thursday, Mr Tareen said the PPO was a black law and his party would not allow setting up courts under it in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said the PTI would raise its voice against the ‘black law’.

He said the country’s economy was in shambles and power loadshedding had pushed the people against the wall.

He expressed his surprise at the government showing its helplessness instead of fulfilling its promises by resolving energy crisis.

Mr Tareen said the Taliban must extend the ceasefire so that peace dialogue could succeed.

He said army, parliament and all other institutions must stay within their constitutional limits.

With regard to any untoward result of the recent civil-military tiff, he said the PTI would never support any unconstitutional step.
