Karachi has many orphanages which provide protection and family life to orphans and abandoned children. Many of these orphanages don't have enough space for the number of children they have.

Here are some pictures from 'Hussaini Dar-ul-Atfaal' orphanage, near Teen Hatti bridge, PIB colony, Karachi. The orphanage shelters about 20 children of different age groups in a small space of two bedrooms, kitchen, a sitting area and a playground.
