FATEHJANG: The local magistrate on Tuesday sent a bootlegger and three proclaimed offenders to Attock jail on the expiry of their four days physical remand.

The Fatehjang DSP, Malik Talib Hussain, told Dawn that during the investigation the bootlegger confessed to manufacturing and selling liquor for long and was earning more than Rs400,000 per month.

Mr Talib said that a proclaimed offender admitted killing Nouman Mustafa of Fatehjang on April 13 last in front of the Press Club.

He said another culprit from Sawabi confessed to his involvement in fraud, theft and robbery cases.

He asked the public to cooperate with the police and if they had any information about criminals share with the police and the informer’s name will be kept secret.
