ISLAMABAD: An assistant vice-president of Zarai Taraqiati Bank (ZTBL) committed suicide on Friday, police said.

The reason behind the suicide is yet to be ascertained however his colleagues and police are of the view that he was facing some domestic problems. Naeem Ahmed Mubin was attached with the Inspection and Complaint Department, and had recently been promoted. He went to the 10th floor of the building and jumped off the window.

According to his colleagues, his 21-year-old son was injured critically in a road accident two months ago and since then he was in coma.

However on Thursday, his son came out of coma, but his condition was still stated to be critical which further depressed Mr Mubin. The deceased was using anti-depressants.

A few months ago, the victim’s vehicle had also been stolen and he had to take loan from ZTBL.
