Two killed by firing in Khuzdar

KHUZDAR: Two people were killed when gunfire broke out in Balochistan’s Khuzdar district, DawnNews reported.

Another three people were also injured in the incident.

Khuzdar district is considered to be one of the troubled districts of Balochistan province. Bombings and targeted killings have claimed scores of lives in the district.


Exchange of Fire in Qila Saifullah


An exchange of fire occurred between Afghan and Pakistan forces in Qila Saifullah district of Balochistan.

According to the sources, Pakistani security forces were closing the border at Loiband area when some Afghan forces with heavy machinery open fired on them.

Following which Pakistani forces retaliated.

Both sides used heavy weapons during exchange of fire which continued for more than an hour.

However, no causalities or damage to property was reported.
