Deputy Attorney Generals tender resignation

ISLAMABAD: At least three Deputy Attorney Generals, including Zahid Khan, who was heading the Musharraf ECL case, tendered their resignations on Tuesday, DawnNews reported.

All three DAG's, Zahid Khan, Waleed Ansari and Mohsin Imam, belonged to Karachi and were leading important cases on behalf of the federal government.

Zahid Khan was due to appear in the Sindh High Court along along with Attorney General Salman Aslam Butt today for the hearing over removal of Gen (r) Pervez Musharraf's name from the Exit Control List (ECL).

Khan cited personal reasons for tendering his resignation.
