TAXILA: The Attock district development board has approved projects for infrastructure, education and social sectors.

District Coordination Officer Mohammad Iqbal while talking to newsmen at Hassanabdal on Tuesday said that under the annual development programme for next fiscal year Rs422.51 million would be spent on 15 different schemes.

Under the district development programme for Attock a sum of Rs40 million would be spent on 28 different projects.

The DCO said Rs274.20 million had been allocated for 460 schemes in different tehsil municipal administrations of the district.

He said Rs2.81 million were allocated for nine schemes in Hassanabdal.

The DCO said transparency would be ensured while launching the schemes aimed at improving the living standard of the people.
